Competition "The best Trade Mark"
The contest "Trade mark of the Year" is initiated by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and in conformity with the Decision of the Executive Board No. 216 of 12.02.2003 is held annually.
The contest "Trade mark of the year" was conceived for the purpose of propagation of role of corporative image of companies, informational assistance of entrepreneurs in the field of efficient marketing technologies, unification of the efforts of national producers in order to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurship activity and for a healthy competitive environment, by producing goods and rendering services of high quality, and ends with an annually awarding of prizes for the most successful projects in the field of creating and promoting trade marks on internal and external market.
Over the course of the last few years the contest has gained much support amongst the economic agents of Moldova. Between the years 2003 - 2010, 780 brands from 14 regions as well as the municipalities of Chisinau and Balti took part in the contest “Trade mark of the year”, over 190 of which, were awarded the grand prize “The Gold Mercury”.
The yearly award ceremony “Trade mark of the year 2010” is a vital part of the national exhibition “Made in Moldova 2010”. The acting president of the Republic of Moldova, parliamentary speaker Marian Lupu, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Vlad Filat, parliament representatives, government body officials, accredited diplomatic personnel as well as the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was among the many attendees at the event.
This year 43 grand prize “Gold Mercury” trophies, 18 gold, 8 silver and 7 “Heritage of the Republic” medals found their rightfully deserving winners.
After the results have been totaled a yearly edition of the “Trade mark of the year” catalog is to be released, presenting the winners and other important participants of the event within its pages.
This year we launched a new nomination - "Rebranding", in which participated marks that reinvented themselves in the last year have – having changed their image and style, in order to provide greater adaptability to market requirements.
